Pattern Plot Analysis

The Pattern plots have several analysing features. The Pattern Analysis window lists the:

  Maximum gain (front and back)

3 dB to the left and right of maximum

  3 dB beam width

  Front to back ratio

  Phi [Deg] / Azimuth

Gain Probe. The gain information can be found at any point on the graph. Also the Phi (for azimuth patterns) or Theta (for elevation patterns) appear in the Gain Probe window. The Gain Probe can be moved in increments of 1°.

Delta Gain Probe. To find the Delta between two points on the graph, we will use the Delta Gain Probe. The user can look at the change in gain between two plots at the same angle by first clicking on one pattern line with the left mouse button and then clicking on the second pattern line at the same angle with the right mouse button.
